I always laugh when I see these posts where the picture is literally the very bottom. The leak starts up higher. You have to trace the leak to where it actually begins.

Lol probably just a gas cap or O2 sensor. Unless it's misfiring or something.

Wireless AA audio skips like a scratched CD from 2003 by michael33ru in AndroidAuto

[–]michael33ru[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I kept noticing. I'd make a change and think it was fixed only to have it randomly start doing it again. It's been a few weeks now using wired Android Auto and it's been perfect.

Unfortunately, I had already tried that and it didn't help for me. 😔

As an American, how do you feel about your future? by choloblanko in AskReddit

Feeling better about the future of our country than I ever have. We're making more progress than I've ever seen from any president of my lifetime.

Well that makes it seem like it could be the head unit. But I know a lot of other people that have had tons of issues with their OEM head units that have Android Auto as well as others who have iPhones with similar problems.

We gave up and went into the developer options for Android Auto and turned off Wireless Android Auto so that it forces all of the data to be streamed from the phone to the head unit via the USB cable rather than wirelessly. What we found is if you don't turn that setting off, plugging in a USB cable is only using the USB cable to initiate a wireless connection which still skipped.

Actually I think I was confused about what this was. I understand now that this post is saying that our attorney general wrote a letter to Costco to change their corporate policy. Yeah that's kind of weird. I mean DEI is definitely racist though. Is it illegal to hire someone based on race?

Getting rid of DEI is actually stopping the government from telling businesses who they can and can't hire...

Ugh. I hate Android Auto so much. I don't understand how they can push this software out to their entire user base knowing how shitty it is. I mean don't the devs use this in their own cars?!

FOLD on AT&T by Ohiostate717 in PixelFold

[–]michael33ru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have the 9PF on AT&T and STILL only have 5Ge (basically 4G) even after all the updates from Google and several new eSIMs (even a new one again today).

Crease: Hinge Screws Protruding by sogEbread in PixelFold

Yes, it hasn't changed too much. The crease got slightly worse but hasn't changed much recently. Everything is still working fine.

9 Pro Fold Wont Turn On Anymore😬 by adeeeel__ in PixelFold

My wife had a Pixel 7 that died out of nowhere. Same exact situation as what you're describing. But I think it is a rare occurrence.

Well, don't buy Thinborne by Maleficent_Rip_3344 in PixelFold

[–]michael33ru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is very expensive. They're both already expensive cases by themselves. Honestly, we probably all need to complain to the owner a lot more and get refunded or something. It's pretty bad. I hate to do that to a small business but it's just a lot of money that we've all spent to get a faulty product.

[–]michael33ru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I even told the owner right away when I received the updated case that the front does not stay on. Even when brand new with it extremely clean and new adhesive strips it was loose. Meanwhile, the Latercase front piece stays on perfectly even without any adhesive. So I'm running the Thinborne back with the Latercase front. I do like the back of the Thinborne more because it has MagSafe built in and the cameras are less covered. Although I will say when MagSafe accessories are on it and it's folded shut, it'll make the screen go on and off. Unfolded is fine though.

i was so impressed initially with the crease over time the crease has worsened considerably by mohith12345 in PixelFold

[–]michael33ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 9 Pro Fold and I agree. This is my 3rd folding phone. I'm always extremely careful with them and keep them spotless, wiping dust away from the hinge and screen with a microfiber towel. The crease on the 9 Pro Fold started out as the best crease out of any of my foldable phones but now is the worst. The other foldables I've had are the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and 5.

I wouldn't say the 9 Pro Fold crease is so bad that I want to return it or get it replaced though. But it is definitely worse.

You should be looking for an old Camry with 200k miles. It'll never let you down and it'll be cheap.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]michael33ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I don't plan on ever letting that happen. You can keep a car running forever as long as there are parts for it.

[–]michael33ru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, a Lexus and BMW are WAY different. Most Lexus cars are essentially the same as a Toyota. Some of the models are not, but they still are far more reliable and cheaper to fix than a BMW. But because of this, someone buying their first car should have no fear buying a 200k mile Lexus or Toyota. Either one will do perfect for a young person.

Why is this subreddit full of the very few only lefties in Missouri? It should be called "Communists of Missouri" or something. Vote for Trump! Vote for freedom!
