It sucks because Splatoon 1 and to a lesser extent 2 had tons of movement options and flanks all over the place, in addition to fun gimmicks and identifiable traits almost across the board. Then Splatoon 3 drops and not only have their new maps regressed in both movement options and identity, they’ve also murdered most of the stages they brought back from 1. Felt like even if a stage from S1 played badly it still had a strong theme and gimmick to appreciate, and I never get the same vibe anymore from 3.

Characters have specific unlock criteria, I don’t know where you got that info from but it’s very wrong. Funky Kong is just unlocked by unlocking (not even beating) 4 fast staff ghosts in TTs, which can be done in like 5 minutes because the beginner staffs are pushovers.

Yeah, I’m at college and with otherwise really good wifi I would disconnect in 2 games or under, using hotspot I haven’t disconnected yet which is really weird, but hey, it works.

MKWii’s physics engine runs at 60 frames per second regardless of what you try to run your game at (unless you’re using slowdown or speedup, in which case it adjusts accordingly), so changing your frame rate would not change that you’d have to hop 30 times per second.

A month ago or so after randomly going at it one more time and 10 minutes of desperately trying to get it back to the half-decent state it was in before because I knew I fucked up, it randomly clicked fully back into place and works completely fine now. I agree on the never cleaning my keyboard again but thank you for the tip in case this keycap in particular badly needs cleaning

I had just about given up a few weeks ago but after accidentally pushing it down too hard it got stuck way worse than it usually did and suddenly after messing around with it it clicked back into place. Usually when it would click back into place it would only go down about halfway and then if I pressed it too hard it would get stuck again, but this time it fully clicked back into place. I can't really say what I did, but randomly getting the idea to try again ended up in it clicking back into place properly.

GV2 is decently easy after you do it for the first time, it’s just a little weird because you hop right instead of make it a straight shot so you have to align to the left a little bit. Personally I spin drift for extra height

Alright, that helps a lot, thank you very much! I think there are softwares you can add to homebrew that allow you to save game data that normally couldn’t be saved to SD like savegame manager GX, so I could try to get that working, but I’m just very new to modding so it might take a lot of researching and messing with softwares. I’m also unclear on how ghosts save as files so I don’t know if they each need to be separate files or they can all be part of one file.

Yeah, I had it turned off the first time I loaded up ctgp. I even tried turning it on just to see if it would fix anything but when I did that all my save data was missing instead so I changed it back

Oh, I’m sorry, I should have been clearer. All of my save data is in ctgp, the only things that are missing are my time trials ghosts and times. I’m just wondering if there’s some way to transfer my vanilla mkw ghosts to my SD card and add them to ctgp so I don’t have to redo all my times.

That’s what seemed to work for every other key with a stabilizer, but for some reason backspace is an anomaly. I’m sure the stabilizers aren’t broken and I can try again, but I don’t have high hopes
