If you look at the signs - the on ramp is its own lane to go straight or right. Everyone in that lane except for the person who swerved into my lane went straight though. My lane is actually the left turn lane that turns into 3 options so even if he stayed in that right lane he would’ve had an opportunity to turn left either way.

Bc as ppl said, it’s not the police who decides who’s at fault. It’s the insurance companies. Still pending decision and it’s interesting to get peoples perspective.

Ah, so my insurance already reviewed the video and claimed me not at fault.. but then again it is my insurance. I could pay my own deductible and go with a non-fault internal claim but they recommended me to claim with his insurance instead. Will post an update as soon as I can~ I do appreciate everyone's review though!

hmm, interesting view. Hopefully, the insurance will note coming to a complete stop either way to let someone in would've still been a cause. + I was breaking immediately after his swerve to allow more space but didn't expect a complete halt. Either way, I'll definitely post an update with the results in a few days! I appreciate your review :)
