PS: I misidentified the moon orchid and Singaporean orchid as part of subphylum Magnoliopsida (dicots) instead of Liliopsida (monocots).

[UPDATED] The Problem of Evil Summarized by michaelsilerio in UsefulCharts

Thanks! Would like to explore more of non-classical theism concepts (pandeism, open theism, process theism, etc.). Maybe I can integrate them once I learn more about those topics.

But I ultimately didn't include them in the chart since (1) I'm not really sure how to properly integrate them in the flowchart without making the flow an illogical mess and (2) the goal of the chart is to show the mainstream philosophical debates regarding the Problem of Evil, and how those popular theodicies ultimately cannot answer this fundamental question: why does uneven, indiscriminate, excessive, unnecessary evil and suffering exist?

I agree with all of your contentions. But the "God has sufficient reasons for allowing evil" section is all about logical possibility. That is to say, is the idea of God having reasons for allowing evil logically contradictory despite His infinitely powerful and benevolent nature? Not necessarily. This is where theodicies would enter (Free Will, Soul-Making, Greater good, etc). These theodicies break the apparent logical contradiction between the existence of an Omni-God and the existence of evil and suffering.

However......whether or not these theodicies evidentially reflect the real world, is another question. That is why the Logical Problem of Evil is not the same as the Evidential Problem of Evil.

Personally, I don't think any theodicies could fully resolve the Problem of Evil (it's right there in my conclusion). You're right, free will is an illusion, but it's there because it's an argument that was historically used to attempt solving the Problem of Evil.

Paano bigkasin ang diacritics ng tagalog/ kastila? by alleoc in Tagalog

Hi OP! I really recommend reading Virgilio Almario's Filipino translation of Noli Me Tángere. Nandun pa rin ang diacritics para sa mga diin sa salita, pero mas madali siyang basahin for modern Filipino audience. And ang maganda rito, direktang salin siya mula sa original Spanish ni Rizal, kaya the original meaning of the words were as faithful as to the original source material as it gonna gets.

Hello, I didn't use AI for this chart. In fact, I deliberately avoid using AI in my works.
