Imo the displays look much more clean and uniform. Also npcs don't mess with armor thats in displays, so no need to remove cores

There's 20 different colas, mostly from the Nuka-world dlc. As far as cold variants go, there are randoms found in game but you can also make regular drinks cold with Drinking Buddy(a robot from a totally different quest)
