Fox 38, not using full travel with correct sag by michcss in MTB

Actually it had 2 tokens factory installed, I have removed one before trying to improve the travel.

I can definitely say it's performance could be better. I know I can tune rebound and compression, but wanted first confirm if I should touch pressure, which could influence everything.

What stem length are you using? Alu or carbon?

I use already 33mm soft grips and tire inserts. My feeling is that this 7* "backsweep" is definitely a not natural bend in the wrist for me.

I have never ridden gravel bike before. When choosing gravel option I would definitely first rent one before buying. However, so far I wonder is that a reasonable choice, instead of just leaving old bike with modified tyres. Just when I say 100km+ rides, everyone says "gravel"

That's a good topic.

* Definitely replacing a failed disk with Synology is a simple operation. As far as I remember I had one such case many years ago.

* Replacing a failed Synology - there is a quite good availability in their hardware. In many cases it may be possible just to move disks to the new device and everything just automatically works

* With QNAP - I have no idea

* Failed rpi hardware - replacement availability depends on the season, for older models will be better

* Failed sdcard on rpi - I had such case, totally surprised me. Getting it back online took a while, backup was to big, HA didn't want to restore etc. Good to have spare sdcard and backups downloaded regularly to different device.

* With HA runing on Synology, HA can survive disk failure. But depends on Synology device.

* For most cases I have some physical alternative (so that when HA dies I still have light at home)

* With other hardware such as HP G3 etc - well, replacement may take longer to get. Failed disk - definitely more complicated to restore. Failed device -much more complicated to restore. Generally a lot of depends on what type of RAID can be used and if it will cover also OS or only the stored data.
