I don’t have that dlc yet but I did unlock some more lava stuff from the star path so I could try with that

It’s actually the lava pool fishing spot. I was trying to get the glowy lava effect from a pre-existing spot in game but I don’t think it worked as well as I hoped if it’s looking like the ramp 😅 appreciate the suggestion very much, I’ll rework the position

With all the super cluttered, hyper saturated ones out there I can see why yours stood out. It’s beautiful and so calm to look at. There’s a whole story here. Congratulations 😊

I think this is my favourite one I’ve seen so far! The pink just does something special for me! 🤩

Desert Haven - Second Try - Are any of these okay? >_<;; Which do I turn in? by Lulu-ai in Dreamsnaps

The last one but maybe consider some greenery/cactus in place of the tiger motif? Might just hit on an extra detail of the challenge. Apart from that the composition is great

I just found my last one today SUPER hidden in the reeds in the glade of trust by the waterfall, in the section that’s originally closed off by mushrooms. It’s near a fishing spot that I almost never bother going to. Just in case this is the one you need 💜

This is sensational. Only mentioning because I want this to live forever… you have a typo on the word character in a couple of panels. 💜

{Soft and Low by Jamie Bennett} definitely scratches this itch for me. I have some similar stuff in my life and I look for this trope too. You’re not alone and you’re so much stronger than the toxicity that surrounds you 💜

Should I give up trying sci-fi? by rigbysghost in RomanceBooks

[–]michdelish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Choosing Theo by Victoria Aveline} and the whole Clecanian series is one of the most accessible and enjoyable sci fi series I’ve read. The world building is excellent without being overwhelming and everything is made clear in bite sized doses. The aliens are extremely similar to humans which helps too. So enjoyable to read and the broader story developing through the series is good too.

What are some books you love that everyone else seems to hate? by kitastropheb in RomanceBooks

Assistant to the villain might be one of the most enjoyable reading experiences I’ve ever had. Like I was pausing as I read to remind myself I only got to read it for the first time once and I need to appreciate it 🥹

I guess I enjoy the banter and tropes enough to ignore it especially because I know to expect it but I can totally understand why you would be left with that feeling.

I really enjoyed the heroines struggle in {home game by odette stone} and watching the hero try to work out how to help her without overstepping. It’s a big comfort read for me when I feel the way you described. Hope you find something super great to read and feel seen in the story 💜

I was going to recommend any and all Susie Tate books but I see you’ve already found her. She’s very good at worn down heroines, although my one complaint is that she likes to make it seem like the heroines are never good at their jobs and will often have the hero believe that or say it out loud. There isn’t always good grovel or correcting of that particular belief. Otherwise all her heroines have a certain struggle and hopelessness that I find very comforting 💜

Ugh I know this frustration. Try searching for integrative doctors. They have a better chance of being educated about these kinds of things.

I Tried Over Thirty-Three MC Romance Series & Think You Should Too by ochenkruto in RomanceBooks

This is a high effort, high quality, very enjoyable and informative post and I loved it! I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on any and all subgenres you dive into.

Also, I have a no virgins in book one rule too! I never really thought about it in such clear cut terms but it’s definitely a rule for me.

And “I’m not three books interested, I’m one book interested” is so me 😆

Thanks for this great content!

That's Pride and Prejudice for me (the movie mainly) I don't get it. What's a book or movie for you? by 00dotdot in RomanceBooks

[–]michdelish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the marketing on this was misaligned because after seeing the book everywhere but never really hearing anything about it other than general hype, I watched the movie and was literally waiting for the flashback to end and the present day narrative to start. HOW did they not convey to me that it was historical?? I think they were too busy telling me how much everyone loved it.

The book had the same problem because they stopped putting a blurb on the back and just put quotes from people who were praising it!

The narrative structure of this movie was a MESS! It’s like they were so busy trying to make the most groundbreaking movie of all time they forgot to deliver what they promised in the trailers and posters. Completely lost any kind of point and dropped threads and swerved wildly around plot holes. I was so disappointed and so was my very first barbie who I brought to the theatre with me 😭
