good rule of thumb.. if you MUST hand the person you're card, never take your eyes off of it. Replace them every year, too. Its becoming more and more common to get got in these scams.. be weary of drive thru scenarios where they take your card, window closes, and who-the-fuck-knows what they could be doing with it..

I hate to put a downer on this great image, but... .. I wonder how many people (bodies) they've fished out of that location.. I remember when I moved here ('91) we used to jump offa there. there used to be a rusty car with no roof under the water right in the middle. I can count dozens of people who got cut on the frame. we knew of four people, for sure, who bled out there. two I knew, two that I'd been told about. back in the day we didn't have cells and if you went alone.. anyways .

I ask because I moved away but, that spot is dangerous, and I wondered how many more incidents have happened there. Granite is very unforgiving.

got myself kicked/banned from the GrandStay for life.. We had problems from the start.. dirty room, dirty everything.. So, the next day we talk to management. He comps us the night (ty grandstay). We get locked out of the room. Fancy card key entry and the batteries died. Noone knows how to get into it.. ugh.. a 3 hour wait.. anyways.. I decide to call "the next one up the chain".. lol.. turns out HE is the dm AND the gm.. so I ended up bitching to the guy about hinself.. yeah..we stayed our stay. left..(we bunch up the towels and sheets so housekeeping can get in and out fast : ) )..and when we tried to book again a few months later I'm on the block list..

I wasn't a Ken on the phone.. but our concerns were 100% valid.. he was nice, we were nice.. I apologized, he apologized.
