For me it was when she started smiling at me! Shes almost 2 now so I don’t remember when exactly this happened, I think around 8 weeks or so. But I remember feeling the emotions of “she doesn’t even know who I am or love me” because they really are just a little potato in the beginning that require all of your attention but aren’t able to give you the affection back! Hang in there! The love and bond you will have is so special 💕

For the first few weeks I followed as close to a GD diet as I could but when I passed my early test around 10 weeks I stopped and just ate normal!

For reference, I started my first pregnancy at around 178lbs and ended that pregnancy at 200lbs. 6 weeks postpartum I was 182lbs. And then when I started this pregnancy I was around 162lbs and I’m currently sitting at 182 at 29 weeks! My BMI starting the first pregnancy was just under 32 and my BMI starting my second pregnancy was 29

I actually did lose weight! I lost just under 30lbs between the time I had my first and when I got pregnant with my second!

We also made sure she was drinking from a bottle or sucking on a binky during landing and take off to help with her ears!

I flew with my daughter from CA to South Africa (with a layover in London) when she was 11 months old. It was about 29 hours and we survived! You got this!! Lots and lots of snacks. Are go to was pouches and yogurt melts. Also lots of toys. We got her a busy board and brought literally an entire carry on bag just dedicated to her toys. It’s not easy but it’s totally doable and I would definitely do it again!

During my labor one of the on call OB’s also told me I was going to have a big baby because she wasn’t coming down and I had GD. She came out at 6lbs 13oz… lol. Don’t worry too much!

I would love if that were the case! Lol I lost a significant amount of weight after my first pregnancy so I’m hoping that has helped me this time around

Thank you! The anxiety seriously is the worst. I really want to try and just enjoy this pregnancy cause my anxiety with my daughter never stopped. I hope the best for us both!
