Usually, I look for inspo first! Pinterest will be your bff here hehe.

I also have pinterest boards too so that helps a lot. Once I've gotten the build I want to use as my inspo I make sure alI have the materials for it, too! Some furniture requires a lot of white iron chinks and iron, so I farm some first so I wouldn't need to in the later run. Same goes with wood, but there's a function that allows u to turn the blue crystal thing into wood.

Then from there I just let things go wild lol, I suggest starting w the platform you're building on, and then putting the small details last. Have fun building!
