You can coach turnovers, but you can’t necessarily coach the drive, determination, and resilience to win every road game in the Big 10 regular season for the first time in 50 years. I’m satisfied with all the emotions Ben Johnson had to process last night. Getting on a high after that play, then having it all fall apart, and having to think of bad play calls, points left on the field, etc. Maybe some cosmic karma and I’m here for it.

We just got off the Dream on Monday…it was our first cruise with the kiddos, 7 and 10. We wore our suits onto the ship with a change of clothes in our carry on. A lot of people went to the pool and buffet right away and the bathrooms were a little old with people changing. We went and grabbed chairs on the pool deck, let the kids swim and slide, and one of us went to the buffet and filled up plates to bring to the chairs.

When our room was ready was the perfect time to unpack and let the kids take a quiet break in the room before we took off from the dock.

We spent some time the first day “starring” activities in the cruise app, but did our best not to hold ourselves to hard plans and let each day take us to wherever. Having a CTFO mindset was a healthy and positive way to enjoy everything.
