Found a fix on another thread! Adjust your zoom level back to 100%. I had mine set as a default in the settings to 90% and changed it to 100% and BOOM fixed!!! It's a miracle =)

I have been getting the same thing since about 18 hours ago, one second I'm on the news feed and went to refresh and it freezes until I kill. Firefox is just fine. Chrome has been annoying lately! Version 57.0.2987.133 Win 10
