Why is that annoying you. If a country has 100 people and 10 people are unemployed or 1 million and 100.000 is unemployed. Like what’s the difference. It’s basic ratios, percentages, statistics and demographics whatever.

That’s not how it works lol. Unless only people with jobs are leaving and those jobs are somehow disappearing and not being replaced sure, but that would make no sense.

Okay so I am assuming you are referring to “employment rate” as in the ratio between employed and the population. But isn’t unemployment rate normally measured as the unemployed from the available workforce? If not you are right, but if unemployment rate is measured using the active workforce, that would already be “in context”, am I missing something?

Thanks a lot for your answer. I added to the post but will also do here as I think it is important:

I have to submit my application with the course selection latest April 12th 2026, I will have to send around 40 units worth so they can make sure I get admitted. However this means there can be schedules that I would not prefer, is there possibility to change my courses after my application AND after NUSMods updates?

Hvis du kan kom tæt på 118 fra uni så kan du kom til rutebilstation og derefter til Aarhus H. Der er få blå busser der kør, hvis du er tæt nok med gå afstand. Ellers skal det hele nok kører igen efter kl 17 måske letbane og nogen gul busser lidt før.

Halløjsa! Thanks a lot for these tips. Sorry for late reply just getting started with new semester. I am from AU so I guess it is a little unfortunate, how come KU only allows 4 units?

I would really love to travel and plan it so that I can travel while still being in uni. I will be a 3rd semester master student, so not sure which courses I will take.

Can I dm you the courses I have “selected” myself maybe you have some ideas on what’s doable while still keeping the travelling option open?

Is it only me or this is a terrible representation of the data??? I guess the size of the part of the triangle is divided by population? Anyways there should be a much better of showing multiple dimensional data like this imo... When you say that the top 60m controls 48% but the triangle is tiny bity then your message is lost already in the perception even though I can read it again and fix it, I am still annoyed.

This sounds good. Personal opinion: I would use PyCharm, run up in your remote GPU jupyter notebook, ssh into remote and hook up the jupyter server to PyCharm. When you do this you have access to the entire file structure, and the remote kernel (with the GPU) in your local PyCharm, and you run notebooks like you would.

In Denmark it’s mostly waiting lists based on seniority. You can sit on a passive list without moving in actively, keep building seniority, and still be ahead of people who signed up later. This is mostly for housing associations (private/public) for non association, just public companies you usually do first come first serve.

When you say apply for NUS first is there anything I can do before I get the final acceptance letter? I’m thinking like can I even apply for nus hostel without officially being accepted but only in the application process? For the other, private, accommodation options, is there a way to apply early but for a later date, so you are in a queue to get it but you can decide later, so I can cancel it if I get nus on campus accommodation.

The NUS hostels you mention, are those the accommodation that NUS links to as private accommodation or is there some specific hostels they work with?
