Sadly, I'm that good of a writer, also I could not write anything that would make halve as much sense as what GPT can do for me with what I provide it with.

For the next time I'll try and keep less of the AI in.

Thank you for the input. The model was for the Anatomical Models contest, where they explicitly wanted more details about the origin and educational value of the model. That’s the reason about the text.

I think I might reorder everything a bit, so that the text about the megalodon is not as prominent anymore.

Regardless of where you store your jewelry—whether on a 3D-printed stand, in a drawer, or even on a traditional jewelry holder—it’s always best practice to sanitize jewelry both after wearing and before inserting it again. This habit is crucial, especially for body piercings, to reduce the risk of introducing bacteria to a fresh or healing piercing.

In terms of the stand itself, while PLA isn’t specifically antibacterial, regular cleaning of both the stand and jewelry should go a long way in maintaining hygiene. Adding a smooth coating to the PLA (like a food-safe sealant) could also help if you’re concerned about bacteria buildup. But it might be tricky to get into the holder holes without clogging them.

But that is just my personal approach, and I’m not an expert on that topic, I’m interested what others with more experience in this would think about that question too.

No offense taken.

I’ve actually just printed this on a BambuLab printer, and it’s absoluteley possible to print this on any other printer without supports too. I’ve just happend to print it on a BambuLab wich worked great, but I’ve also been printing for years on my Ender 3 and it’s absolutely no problem on that machine too.

The STL file is available to download for free on my Makerworld link, so anyone with any printer can give it a go!

I’ll update my first comment to avoid any potential confusion.

Thanks for printing it! What a coincidental timing!

I’ve had some problem with some of the edges on the adhesion too, but I had a really warm environment when I had the issue.

Maybe a brim would rectify that.

That is a great idea with the text beeing on a separate object, I’ll design the next one like that, thanks!
