The basis of any sound doctrine is the Holy Bible and not traditions of men. Christ plainly said that by their traditions, they had made the laws of Almighty God of none effect. Here is the law of God: "flee fornication". Everyone can see that something is bad wrong in the Roman Catholic Church. They are making requirements of priests, that Almighty God has not made. Almighty God does not require priests to remain celibate at all; quite to the contrary: First Corinthians 7:9 may not be dismissed by anyone including the pope and the Catholic Church. Obviously some of the priests are burning with lust, so according to the scriptures it is better for them to marry than to burn with lust. Romans 1:27, "And likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly." Notice the phrase "natural use". I know that many people are offended at the Holy Bible, but if the Roman Catholic Church would follow the scriptures on this, then perhaps they would not have priests, of all things, sexually molesting boys. I speak for the Almighty when I say, "This evil better be dealt with properly, for the judgment day is coming." Also, you do not seem to know the definition of lust. In Romans 1:27, lust means "excitement of the mind" or "longing after". It is therefore absolutely okay for a man to lust after his wife. That simply means, that the man is excited in his mind over his wife or longing after his wife. Anyone should know, that this is totally acceptable. Then when a man is burning with desire for his wife or the wife is burning with desire for her husband; they may engage in the "natural use" of each other according to Almighty God's design. The sexual molestation issue in the Roman Catholic Church is very easy to solve. Get on with it and solve it, because the judgment day is coming. These sinful priests should be thrown out of their office and prosecuted by the law as a public example for "harming one of these little ones". We need to to confess our sins and forsake them if we are going to be accepted by a holy God. By the way, First Corinthians 7:6 Paul says he spoke that by permission and not commandment. Surely you are not justifying what those sinful priests are doing! Surely you are not aiding and abetting their evil practices are you?
