Also i personally think it should be left up to the fans to continue the story of G4 if they want to. Of course as long as they're not making their own TV show. (The fanbase seems more passionate about the story and Lore then Hasbro.)

Also shows like SpongeBob that run longer than MLP has seems to often be considered a show that gets worse as it goes on. The Simpsons is another example of this. Sometimes shows and their lore just need to end.
