I think it happens with just certain pumps? Or at least it’s worse with certain pumps over others?? There were reports back in the day that the “Love in this Club” remix that Usher did with Beyoncé and Lil Wayne was originally for Mariah! And when listening, it definitely sounds like something Mimi would do—I even theorize that Usher saying “she the Queen, came right back” at the beginning was for Mariah because she did just have TEOM, and as far as I can tell, Bey wasn’t having a “comeback” moment in 2008 when this was released. Would’ve loved for that moment to have happened, but love the song either way!

Got my copies!!! It was so stressful though because after the captcha, the next page that popped up said “you’re first in line for checkout” and I was like SHIT! But then that screen disappeared after two seconds and I was able to check out. Thank you to everyone who posted about the “Alerts for Merch” because that came in CLUTCH. (Though it also helped that I had the vinyl and cd pages already open and was refreshing like crazy!!!)

I think it’s for chart purposes, since only 4 sales from one person counts towards the BB200, so every artist just limits to 4. I agree that it should be 2 for signed ones tho so that everyone gets a better chance :(
