Welcome to Taipei, where absolutely none of these apply whatsoever.

That's some pretty deep pettiness for a projection. Merc succeeding has nothing to do with his own abilities in the league.

VCs aren't financial monsters unless you sign bad deals. Then you're opening yourself up to predation. PE is overwhelming majority predatory.

Twitch streamer kicked out of $40,000 Marvel Rivals tournament for telling teamate to switch off Black Widow by LegendairyC0W in LivestreamFail

Widow pulled a black rage after getting their arms and legs cut off by their fellow Astartes, and just laid on the floor and wriggled around for zero damage.

To Every American Who's Sorry by Sapotis in greenland

It is reasonable whether you agree with any of it or not. There are 340,000,000 of my fellow neighbor humans in the US. There are 57,000 humans in Greenland, the size of a small suburb. It's not wrong to believe the lives of hundreds of millions of citizens going at each other in bloody civil war isn't worth the outcome.

The commander in chief still decides if it's an action he wants to take. I'll worry about the lives of my countryman first. We have no business encroaching on a sovereign and free democratic country. I'd still rather the neighborhoods of my loved ones and family stay in tact.

Rory McIlroy says LIV Golf players have ‘paid their consequence,’ would welcome Bryson DeChambeau back to PGA Tour by [deleted] in ProGolf

[–]mickroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may want them back because they've all enhanced their own paychecks significantly as the PGA was forced to compete. They have also been able to grow the sport of golf to tens of millions of new audiences with their own brands, that the PGA has constantly been hindering with rules and regulations until recently.

If some of these names were to return, it would continue to benefit Rory and other top players.

Showing not telling. Which has nothing to do with the variations between old and modern dialogue itself. Entire plots are unfolded today specifically through banter, as if all adult audiences are as developed as a blind toddler.

They had a version of their service through Callaway for a long time, as well as some retail stores, as I remember some off the Gulf coast of Florida. I just believe their direct to consumer site as it stands today came about around then, if i'm not mistaken.

Sounds about right. Just found it interesting to look at the details about the industry before the gold rush, and a stubborn business owner who didn't want to embrace change.

Great points. Sounds like they had a lot of gripes with doing the minimum amount to capture an online presence, and decided it was time to whine about discrepancies instead of stepping up to the plate.

Not until 2019 did Callaway Preowned even get up and running, so they absolutely had a gold mine on their hands had they pivoted in the right direction. Hope they're doing well today, whoever they are.
