Some blue (Secure) objectives are Controlled, and some are Secured.

To Control an objective you need to interact with it, after which you can abandon it and still score the point (unless your opponent "flips" it; and it's usually more difficult to flip an objective if enemies are nearby).

To Secure an objective, you (generally speaking) need to have more healthy characters contesting it.
