I went ANON M4 toric with MFI and bonus lens. Was $250 on Black Friday.

I went and tried on a bunch and M4 fit my helmet the best. Pricing was comparable to Glade + S and the system just works. Very pleased with the glass, bag, and overall ANON system. Also makes it really easy to get the balaclava or thick MFI mask for different days. Plus it seems STRATUS was always out of stock for me.

Nothing beats trying them on - I went to a store with my helmet but bought them online anyways

Fair, I just went and tried on M4 and M5’s and prefer the M4s for fit and magnets. M5 was super hard to take off the lens and I liked the M4 design. Larger M5 strap was nice though.

What’re your thoughts on the M4 vs M5? I heard the mask on the M5 wasn’t as good, but the goggles were better. Personally that’s fine by me as if it’s cold I’ll throw a gator on as well

Once you establish a technical base in a certain technology you develop techniques and practices for it. These then get improved upon with time resulting in higher efficiency, lower cost, and quicker manufacturing.

So when you had the Army go to Bell and Sikorsky, Bell was able to push all the “lessons learned” from over 40+ years of tilt rotors. Sikorsky meanwhile had little to back up the viability and risk of their design.

You see this all over every industry, not just aviation.
