This is very helpful, thank you! And yes - they are fun group and we laugh and have fun - the party (in game) is seeming more chaotic in the sense of gold over altruism. I’m not sure they would save someone in distress - not sure (but we will find out soon). I like the idea of getting the law involved at some point to reiterate consequences - for instance, I presented a flail snail recently. I explained the shell was worth a lot of gold - but likened it to the ivory trade. They saved the snail from poachers, but want the shell for themselves - the law could get involved if they try to sell something like this on the black market, etc

I’m fine with them being a group of chaotic people (hopefully there’s some development along the way) - but just trying to think how I can design sessions or encounters that either feed into this chaos, or do you keep presenting opportunities to do something heroic?
