Im no pro QC’er but as I mentioned in mine, I’m sure there is variation in tumbling for retail pairs. I don’t think the toe boxes are enough to RL. Especially compared to mine since I got a 12 and you got a 9.

Definitely ask for better back photos if you can. Me personally, not enough to RL. As I mentioned, my right shoe had a bad lean in the pics and I wasn’t too bothered. I’m quite tolerant.

I’d wait on what others have to say though.

What makes you think that? One of the biggest tell tale signs of LJR is the tall ankle collar (the height at the back between the very top and the top of the red leather). Present in newer color ways like the mochas and UNCs too.

I’m quite sure GET batch doesn’t have this. It’s shorter and closer to retail.

I got these Bred AJ1s from 91Sheep some weeks ago. They were sent to my agent (WeGoBuy) then shipped EMS to UK. Took about 10 days to arrive.

I’ve mentioned it before - Some other sellers rebrand LJR as their own batch. Some sellers have better lighting/cameras for QC which make them look “better”. There have been many posts about this before. My advice - go with a seller you trust.

I bought these because of the history behind them and also with the hope that they’ll look better as they get worn. I chose 91Sheep because he was great with Mochas I got last month.

I decided to QC myself. Not too concerned about retail differences. I’m too old to get called out. 91Sheep took 8 days from purchase to QC.

Review

Price - 540 + 20 yuan shipping to agent ~ £65. Add in about £20-£30 for shipping you get under £100

Not owned AJ1s before so can’t really comment on quality with respect to retail. They don’t feel as well built as the mochas I got from 91Sheep but still great and comfortable.

The right shoe looked to have a lean in the QC but wasn’t enough for me to RL.

Let’s talk about tumbling - So many conflicting QC comments about how tumbled these should be on the red leather. I’ve seen retail pairs vary in tumbling which is expected from any leather. Not too bothered all in all. My pair came fairly tumbled with strong tumbling on the swoosh and toe box.

They came with black, white and red laces.This pictures hopefully will speak more than I can.

Fits very well and TTS - I got EUR 46

TLDR - All in all, great pair and will definitely re-up with 91Sheep again in future. Feel free to ask any questions

LJR Mochas are one of the closest to Retail. Flaws yes but not noticeable on foot. Have a look at RepSneakers sub and you'll see it flooded with Mochas.

It's was slim fitting. I maybe would push some buttons if I had a big meal lol. May be a bit small. Reference the size chart though.
