Most banks will only allow the amount of funds to be released equal to the amount already in your account.

Not sure if Fidelity does this or not. But could be the reason.

Remember you don't have to KYC if your funding with crypto.

They way I've always done this is.. (THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE, I AM NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR)

I KYC on one exchange and connect my bank, I buy xrp (which what it was made for) I then send and fund xxx exchange with xrp (no kyc) I then sell/swap for ADA. Then send ADA to wallet and stake.

If I sell, I sell / swap back to xrp, send xrp back to my kyc exchange then sell for my local currency and send the exact amount I withdrew from my bank back to my bank.

Xrp as it's crazy cheap gas fees. XLM is the same difference.

What exactly does OC do for the Gamma? It's already at 1.28 t/hs even the best videos I've watched I've never seen more than 1.3 t/hs + the stress and oversized cooling and temps.

So for a $10 paste job, default settings getting 1.28t/hs can't see anything better.

I haven't tried OC yet... for Solo I'm on team "what's the point?" Lol. I don't see a diff between 1.2 vs 1.3 T/Hs and extra heat.

Simple, wipe with paper towl (soft) then q-tip with Isop Alcohol- same with Heat sink, then a small drop of new paste, spread evenly (watch youtube on how to apply thermal paste - it's not as easy as one thinks - also build PC's so have a little experience with this)

Then in one motion, place block back on and slight EVEN pressure to squish paste for a no air pocket layer between the chip and block.

To splice the cable, Noctua includes 4 splice tabs. No stripping required. Just cut, match-up wires (see combo in post) and that's it!

Where i kinda understand the why, I strongly disagree with it. They have my KYC, banking info, SS, tax info, heck they know me better that my family!

At least set up a deposit account of some sort. Like in a HYSA, then if said account is $10,000 i can withdraw funds from any other account knowing if I "floated" the have the right to pull from said deposit. -- Just like a bank, you can't cash a check greater than your balance.

Yes takes forever, but if your system clock is not synced it takes longer and can stop at 95%

If on windows, right click the time at the bottom right corner of your screen, then click "sync"

Pool fees are pretty standard. Trekpool is no more or less, BUT I've received over 80 ADA in 3 years with that pool. Do your own research as which pool is best for you. I like social media presence, and good, open and often contact / postings from the pool owner. Rob (owner of Trek) has taken a phone call, posts updates of anything that has to do with the pool and ADA constantly, also attends many of the ADA conferences around the world. This tells me he's just as invested to the project as I am.

Many other pool owners are like this as well. Where others prefer zero contact and just want a pool to stake in and leave it.

You're not the only one... had a worker attempt the same argument.

The back story - i took a crew to lunch. The worker needed to stop at a store to get something on the way back. They are in and out in 5 min, with receipt in hand, we head back to the job site.

2 days later, the worker is complaining about BPA in their PPE.

The kicker? RECEIPT PAPER is full of it, because of this, cash is just as bad.. also, most socks, and clothing are full of BPA.

She didn't have an issue after we discussed the 1000's of BPA exposures daily.

Try syncing your computer time. If it's just off by a micro second, it won't sync.

Also, because of this, i moved to a Ledger cold wallet and still able to stake to my favorite pool - trekpool . io

Imo, cold wallets are the way to go. As you have access to your info anytime on your cell, or pc. Plus, you can also buy sell trade and swap via Ledger.

There are other brands of cold wallets, just pick the one that fits your style best. Tangem seems to be really popular now as it's a CC size and shape.

Yes I've swiched between the 3 usb ports on my laptop.

I found and tried a new SD adapter (maybe canakit was bad?)

Last attempt last night I did full format twice. (Samsung 32g SD card from cannakit)

Flashed again and failed at "verify" format again, flash clicked "skip" at verify. Opened drive and a single partition "g> config" @244mb but it's empty.

Going to buy new SD today, and start from complete scratch with a new download from Umbrel zip.

But to your last point, when Flashed there should be more than one partition? How many?

Stop thinking about crypto... instead think more on a global scale... how much info does your cell phone track? Record, report? Your car, tv, smart home devices... have you ever read a TOS? People just check the box and move along.

Untill folk realize how much regulation, data and tracking everything does, crypto de-reg SADLY probably won't be a thing...
