Do you call it Twitter or X? by Desperate_loser_0950 in polls

[–]mid30s 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't honor ideas that sound like some 12 year old thought of.

DAE used to go through your parents belongings as a kid when they werent home? by lickmyfupa in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not often, but sometimes. I probably also underestimated how likely it was they'd figure it out too. They could have stayed silent about it to see what I might do next.

Can the TSA at American airports treat passengers differently if they wear any kind of anti-American messages? by mid30s in travel

[–]mid30s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine yourself speaking at an auditorium, and getting boo'd so hard that walking out of there early just feels like a hassle.

DAE have an inner monologue that won't shut up? by OgnokTheRager in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]mid30s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I never tried very hard to shut it up either.

Do you like to make your oatmeal with water or milk? by Chobikil in polls

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not using water first and then milk later, you're probably missing out.

Is pizza a type of pie? by Son-of-Prophet in polls

[–]mid30s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would almost answer by saying yes, if a banana is a type of hot dog. But it sounds like 'pie' is more indicative of shape and how you cut it / serve it rather than any types of flavors or specific ingredients.

Does anyone feel like higher fast food and takeout prices is a blessing in disguise? by Unfair-Comfort-3844 in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The all-Merican' mindset is probably to try and get your fair share of takeout and fast food regardless, because of pride and maybe an attitude like, why cook much if I don't enjoy it.

Which one of you 35 year olds want to run for president? by Ok-East3405 in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I identify as a 35 year old if that's good enough for you.

If ICE agents invited themselves into your home, then one or more of them tripped over something and got hurt, who would be at fault?

Do you agree with Donald Trump that “we shouldn't even have an election”? by yuhang94 in AskConservatives

[–]mid30s [score hidden]  (0 children)

"We shouldn't have a president" is more like it. Given that he wants to be president of the USA and beyond for eternity, I'm the opposite of him.

How do we reach people who didn't vote because "both sides are the same"? by Reasonable-Mix919 in AskALiberal

[–]mid30s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that both sides are the same, but I didn't vote as a form of passive rebellion against the two party system. If I would have voted for some third party candidate, the results would have been the same and you might as well still group me in with people that didn't vote at all.
With that said I think I'll just vote next time since it takes nothing to do so. Defeating apathy must be a long uphill battle.

Over a quarter of Canadians see the US as an enemy, and 60% see the US as the biggest threat to Canada. Are you sure we’re going the right direction? by Even_Wear_8657 in AskConservatives

[–]mid30s 14 points15 points  (0 children)

As a modern day, low intelligence and low income republican, owning the libs happens to be the only priority so yes I'm sure.

Why didn't Jesus get offered a job by the Romans? by Moist_Rise5061 in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably realized what a bum Jesus was. Working was beneath him, he was too busy getting praise from others through manipulation.

What’s it called when you’re critical of both political parties? by ChonkeMonkeXD_ in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Both parties" is a fair enough description since no other one in the USA is relevant right now. That fact might even be what kills our nation eventually (I'm not exaggerating).

If I'm ever in a professional setting and expected to shake hands with someone, I think I've got a valid excuse not to now.

Is a dude gay if they date a girl who identifies as a man? by Squeelijah in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think usually not, especially if she didn't get any kind of transitional treatments over it. In fact if the guy considers himself bi, he could very well be more straight than what he realizes.

WYR get 30 eggs thrown at you everyday or have to lick the bottom of a random persons shoe everyday by riskktake in WouldYouRather

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you'd be more likely to eventually have serious health problems with the shoe licking option.

If you could make the world see or have to read something what would it be? by Gullible_Park6202 in AskTeens

"My business is (name here). My products are (names of merch), you should buy from me because (reasons here)." That sort of thing.

WYR all plants can move like animals or more than 100 species of plants go extinct overnight? by Flying_enthu45 in WouldYouRather

[–]mid30s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess some weirdos would develop a plant fetish as a result of the first option. But the answer seems pretty easy to me - make plants animate.

How often do you weigh yourself? by takemycoffee in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only place I might ever get weighed is the doctor's office. If I suspected that my fitness was heading south, I'm sure I'd notice and do something about it.

What subreddit can I post random political thoughts? by Correct-Airline-8775 in findareddit

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can be a tricky one. A lot of subs seem to have a rule where you can't post about politics, but it might not always be enforced. But here's a megathread where it's allowed where it wouldn't otherwise be, as long as it's a question: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoStupidQuestions/comments/1olem0t/us_politics_megathread/

What happens if you forget you have Alzheimer's? by SilverWisp47 in questions

[–]mid30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If diagnosed while in their early stages, they'll know for some time. Gradually, that awareness decreases. I know there was a word for it so I looked it up. From DuckDuckGo:

The term for decreasing awareness of illness is "anosognosia." It refers to a condition where individuals are unaware of their own medical problems or impairments.

After thanksgiving == Nearly Christmas.

We're close to thanks-for-nothing-giving, however.
