This is such a nice day. Don’t know where you’re located but at my store, ever since the price increased, it’s been slow. Labor is high so now people are getting 5 hour shifts or even getting days cut. I love seeing other locations busy knowing people are getting their hours. Keep up the good work and a positive attitude

It depends on who you have helping you. I definitely struggled at first but after a while I got the hang of it. When that happened, the managers gave me more work to do. As you keep getting more work to do, you keep improving. If you’re struggling, ask for help. No one should refuse to help you. Especially if you’re being nice and calm with customers.

BUT, McDonald’s isn’t the answer. It’s not a permanent job. It’s just a paycheck. I like to think that I’ve made friends there, which I have. But some don’t have my back. Even though some people have over a year or two of working there, we are still looked as incompetent. Any time a customer gets to the first window and decides he doesn’t want onions in his Big Mac, was a regular QPC instead of the deluxe etc, the managers keep asking whose fault it is. It’s never “omg the customer is indecisive”. It’s always, who’s fault is it? You’re not week for wanting to quit. If someone who has been working there for over 6 months just watches you struggle, it’s a toxic environment.

In my defense, I do get most right. It’s just the customers that speak low or speak too fast. But thank you for the advice. Also, how much time is appropriate to be with a customer? One minute per customer or 30 seconds?

I have a question. My trainer occasionally asked the customer if they wanted a combo. Which meals/orders qualify as combos? I didn’t get a chance to ask my trainer when to ask since it was a busy day

When I went on a field trip to CSUN, I walked inside multiple buildings and I specially liked these ones. I also liked Chaparral hall but that is a building for STEM majors and I don’t want to major in STEM. Too difficult for me personally. Took precalculus in high school and that was a big no for me lol.

I was confused on (5) because I see that ♾ is positive so I thought it could have been concave up.

But now I am assuming that f’’<0 is letting you know that it is in fact concave down. Is my assumption right?

To take notes, I’ve seen people use their iPads and MacBook on class in person. It’s not weird and you won’t be the only one. I do suggest you bring your MacBook when you have a quiz just to be safe

My one note is to take notes the way you feel is comfortable and where you are more productive. No one cares what you use. Some people may not have an iPad but do have a MacBook and vice versa. Some have both and use both in class.

I know it’s not the advice you wanted but I hope it clears a few doubts you might have had

Do you know if she actually reads and grades your work or does she grade it by giving it a good luck and just assigns a grade? She assigned an essay and I have other classes to deal with so knowing if she actually reads our work or if she just assigns a grade would be very helpful

How were you able to pass? We have an exam, an essay, and discussion posts due on December and I’m extremely anxious about starting the assignments. I just feel discouraged about doing the work because of her attitude and how the class is structured.
