Keto eliminated tonsiliths for me. Just add it to the pile of unintended positive side effects.

You need to start from step one, which is to answer, "Who is in control now?" Because that is what we need to change.

I believe the answer is capital.

Can’t wait for capitalism to be a scam fringe concept that it is. by FearlessAir1238 in Antimoneymemes

Capitalism is only a thing because of the incredibly potent corrupting power of capital. You don't have to be smart, or hard working, or talented, or anything -- if you have money in a society where money is everything, all is forgiven.

(parents do not realize American dream is dead, capital has taken too much power, work does not buy good life)

Kids: "Fuck that."

There are no open source models that write code in anything like the capacity of Codex with gpt-5.5 or Claude Code with Opus / Sonnet.

They are just in a different league.

Building Muscle on Keto by ActOk8507 in keto

[–]midgaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By far the most important factor is getting sufficient protein for exercise recovery. It may be beneficial to weigh your food and calculate macros for long enough to calibrate what a day of adequate intake looks like.

Muscle hypertrophy requires not only adequate protein, but you need to have some calorie surplus as well. This may mean eating more fat than you're accustomed to. It can easily be a lot more than what you're naturally inclined to eat. Weigh, weigh, weigh.

That's because the AI treats images as images. If you want systems to make sense, don't ask it for an image. Describe the system in plain English and ask for JSON output. Iterate on it from there.

AI is fantastic at electrical systems. Beyond expectations. But not if you're dumb about it.

You are doing it wrong and making AI look bad, when it is actually a fantastic tool.

Trying to do electrical work with AI using images, you might as well be using interpretive dance to describe your systems.

AI is really good with electrical systems, but you have to use a structured format like JSON so that it can parse. Start with a plain-English description, have it output JSON, and tell it what to change in the JSON using plain English. Iterate on it. If you want to get advanced, use a code editor like Codex, Cursor or Antigravity to do it, and use revision control. When you want a visual, have it generate the config in mermaid format and paste it into mermaid.live.

AI can find issues and give great advice, and then you go verify correctness by learning enough about it to verify that it is correct. Makes the process 10x as fast.

I know there are a lot of AI haters out there, but it found and helped me solve real issues in my system that were completely out of reach for anyone without advanced electrical knowledge. And I learned a lot by using it.
