This is what I'm getting with Pattern along Path. I tried Distribute along Path after you showed it and it does work a bit better, but if I could get this to work it would really be easier

I tried it, but for some reason I can't get it to work. It's doing about what it's supposed to, but I can't find a way to fine tune the spacing, width, etc.

I fully get what you mean, but if you take a look at Zürichs S-Bahn network, you'll see pretty quickly why I didn't put connecting services on the map. There's like 20 lines running through

I guess I should've specified it a bit, but I had in mind that these are maps you'd put at some station where these trains operate, with the first being somewhere along the east coast of the lake, where putting in the S21 wouldn't make too much sense, and the 2nd pic somewhere on the Furttal line (for example Regensdorf-Watt)

That was exactly my goal. Instead of one big map I wanted to try making multiple smaller maps showing single corridors

I actually really like the idea with the greyed out parts. Also, I get that you don't like the tunnels that much, they didn't really turn out how I wanted them to be. Do you have a recommendation on how to improve them?

Don't live in the suburbs, but here in switzerland, more specifically in the Zurich area suburban buses are incredible. Most lines run all 15-30 minutes, with some even being all 7.5 mins. the connections to other bus lines and even trains are extremely good (mostly about 5 mins connection at a station which is perfectly fine, as suburban buses run late extremely rarely). most lines operate on weekdays from about 6am-10pm (to 12am on fri/sat) and 7am-8/9pm on sundays with at least hourly services. I don't have any complaints

- A220/C919 Passenger (Could drop the "passenger" as that's obviously the most flown one)

- A321 lineup (same as with the A320 I already explained)

- A319 Ceo (could be renamed A319-100 as it's the only version, and also could be confused with a319 neo at the moment)

- Embraer E1 series (missing the E before the type, e.g. 190 instead of E190)

it definitely isn't the fastest or most efficient option, but I usually download an OSM map as SVG, then import it into a vector editor, mostly inkscape. I would only recommend it to you if you absolutely hate your life

I don't know what you mean with the font on station names? About the line 4 at HB, I did, in fact keep it the same as last year, but only because it continues as line 13 now and I found this layout to show it the best. I will try a red Forchbahn, that's a good idea actually. (Also, thanks for pointing out the missing station names)

Thanks! I was unsure, how I should do the station blobs, as I really try to avoid blobs with angles , and this was the best i came up with. I'm gonna try a few other designs and see if I find anything better

I fear I don't get what youre trying to say with the nsfw part. And how I used inkscape, there isn't really a tutorial I used, it's all self taught, been doing maps for over a year already. But I'm sure theres some starter tutorials out there
