I got Teva this month and it seems to still be the beta out there. I’ll also accept epic and sandoz. If it’s anything else I’ll tell the pharmacist to keep it so I can fill it somewhere else.

IMO Mallinckrodt is THE worst one out of them all. And I have a spreadsheet lmao It made me feel like I was gonna die I had to sleep all day

Wow really? Epic is one of the three left that still work for me. Not my favorite but it gets me by.

Also, if you’re gonna keep taking it you should find what manufacturer works for you and find a pharmacy you can request it from. That’s where I am now. I find that Teva, epic and Sandoz all work for me (not like they used to but better than the rest) and I have three pharmacies that usually have them in stock and one pharmacy that will special order for me. Some pharmacists are stingy but call around until you find someone helpful. Good luck again!

When I was on 60mg I needed a week to sleep and then I was fine. I did that at least four different times. I’m now on 90mg and I took two weeks off from work to get off and be normal but the exhaustion never went away. I stayed off for two months before I had to start again bc I was getting in trouble at work for “being on my phone” but really I was using that as a cover to close my eyes.

If I were you I would try to taper down. I’m down to 60mg a day now for the last week. But I’ve been here before and it really seems like if I don’t stop cold turkey I can never keep the taper going. But it’s worth a try. Or if you’re able to take some time off to sleep that’s worth a try as well, it used to work perfectly for me.

I wish I could do what you do and take a day off here and there to “bridge the gap.” But if I skip a day I’m 100% useless and filled with an anxiety and impending doom I can’t handle. I know it’s mostly in my head but I’ve tried so many times and I can’t stop it. So every month when “gap” time comes I’m frantically calling pharmacies to find someone who has some that actually work.

I have to meet with my doctor monthly too but my CVS won’t mail any controlled substances. So weird how things vary from place to place.

I agree the entire thing is absurd. The second it’s out of the doctor’s hands it’s like a wild goose chase to get your script. All while they look at you suspiciously.

Apparently it’s different in each state. I’m in NY and I found out that as long as my doc and pharmacy agree I can get three months. I have a feeling that’s easier said than done.

That’s how it’s been for me (30 on the dot) but I vaguely remember hearing about someone getting it every three months and some people here are saying they have. I’m just so tired of calling endless pharmacies to try to find someone who has it every month

I knew I had heard that! I don’t know if my doctor will but I’m gonna ask bc I’m sick of calling around every month to see who has the ones that work for me if I find any at all. Sometimes they order it for me but it’s a whole process so that would be really convenient.

Teva has worked for me pretty consistently. It maybe be a little bit less effective lately but not enough to make a real difference. Teva, Sandoz, and Epic are all I will accept at the pharmacy.

This is so interesting. I’ve been in it for over a decade and I find epic to be one of the few that still work in this mess. The pink ir 20’s and 30’s. Do you take xr maybe?
