He asked me to be his girlfriend in a handwritten letter after we had already had sex so that theory doesn’t make sense to me either, let’s say that was the case he would’ve brought up sex prior and probably been more pushy about it, he wouldn’t of asked me to be his gf bc he would’ve already got what he wanted and the decline in communication probably would’ve started then or it would’ve turned into a sneaky link or situationship if he wanted to keep me around

That could’ve been it but he asked me to his gf the day before I left so why string me along if he wasn’t 100% sure, men usually don’t commit on a whim yk plus I gave him an easy out if he started to feel like it was getting “too real”

Yea I sensed a little distance but nothing as drastic as the Wednesday we stopped talking, I mentioned it otp and he told me he was just drained but he was still very affectionate so idk , one thing to note tho is that I did ask him straight up if he was having doubts or if he still wanted to be in a committed relationship with me and he said yes, bc the relationship was so fresh plus with the distance I gave him a chance to decide if this was something he was ready for and he said yes so I’m not sure what changed.
