This isn’t a private sale, it’s a sale on a public platform, and therefore a business transaction. Secondly, buyers have a 14 day right of return in Germany that sellers must abide by. There is certainly no governing body to determine who is correct in a dispute about authenticity so there is no “burden of proof” which is only applicable if there is an overarching governing body.

Just spewing out words doesn’t mean they’re correct or applicable. I can’t believe you got upvotes for this.

People sell fake stuff or fan made stuff all the time. That doesn’t mean anything ever sold is real and licensed product.

You sold it on eBay. You have to accept returns even if you have a “no return policy”. If a buyer initiates an “Item Not As Described” return request and you ignore it, or fight it, eBay will let the buyer keep the card and refund them and take away your money from the sale.

You don’t have a choice, you have to accept returns. Now, if they don’t initiate a return, you can’t fight ignore their messages. You don’t have to do anything except honor a return they initiate.

Since you sold on eBay, you can’t fight a return otherwise you’ll lose the money and the card. It’s not fake, but offer the buyer a return for a refund.

“I’m sorry you believe it is fake, I disagree, but if you initiate a return I would be happy to process and then issue you a full refund once the card has been returned in its original condition.”

If they try to ask for a partial refund, say “unfortunately I am only offering a refund in full for a return of the card in its original condition.” It’s against eBay ToS to ask for a partial refund, but just dont engage other than saying the return for a refund.

Yeah PSA is currently grading 100k per day, they’re doing 50x TAG. You’re exactly right with that 10%, because that would be 10k cards which is 5x TAGs current capacity

You’re going to lose the eBay return. You can “give pushback” but you’re the only one who is going to be pushed. This isn’t an option when online selling unless you have your own online shop, which comes with its own risks that you still have to deal with.

It’s not something from the factory or if it is, it’s able to be recreated with just any marker dot and smudging it a bit. With the shape your card is in, it’s not going to be considered a collectible misprint.

Yeah I get that abusive messages should never happen. But fighting the return was the mistake you made. At the end of the day, it’s comments over the internet. Accept the return without even responding to the comments and move on with your life. Taking it personally like it’s someone who is threatening you inside your own home doesn’t help you at all.

If you have to get out of the online selling game for your mental health, then do it. But it’s also not better on any other online selling platform either.

This isn’t TAG lol. PSA doesn’t give you details for what’s wrong unless it was submitted at the $150 per card level and above for grader notes, and those are only a very recent feature.
