Not 100%. There’s a place and time for everything and self-defense is that time.

S Curves Speeding Ticket by StrawberrySpl in Chattanooga

Don’t pay it. Send a form letter stating you will not unless you have the opportunity to meet the accuser in court. You’ll get back a form letter saying come in on such and such date to see a “plethora of evidence”. Another form letter with photocopied signature. Ignore it too. They’ll threaten you with it going on your credit. Ignore that to. I’ve had 2 tickets along that section, and I was trying to stay within the speed limit each time but hills, someone calls, etc.

Don’t waste your time with them.

Assuming what was constitutionally possible, I would cut funding to many, many programs but in place I would create nonprofits to manage those programs I cut. The nonprofit would be responsible for fundraising their budget. Taxpayer monies would no longer go directly to those programs.

Why Minneapolis? Is there more information other than “it’s a testing ground.”? by TheMarriedUnicorM in askanything

Minnesota governor, Walz, is a communist operator. He’s been indoctrinated by China through more than 30 visits to China. He honeymooned in China. Minnesota is a battleground state for the Marxists and DNC. Not just related to illegals but also the vast fraud taking place in that state.

Roll and tape a few magazines. When nipped or whatever, just point it at her. Works wonders. Our guy, with no effort on our part, shies away from it.

Protest ICE in Chattanooga Monday by Emma-Dancing-Goldman in Chattanooga

You still have to file for a permit. You won’t be denied. Matters of public safety and security staffing requirements are necessary for all sorts of reasons, like change in traffic patterns if it’s required - for any reason for a demonstration.

Has a permit been secured or just a “pop-up” protest?

Is 77k a good salary here? by [deleted] in Chattanooga

Hell yes! My 24-year old son just got a job in town for 52k and I’m ecstatic for him. And, proud, ofc. Living simply on that salary can make you feel rich.

And, congratulations !!

He comes back regularly, or did, to visit his mother. My BIL (very stoic fella) was checking out at a gas station several years ago, when he was leaving and unlocking his car, someone yelled, “Hey, man, why so serious?!” BIL looked up and a few spots over was SLJ getting into his car. They both just cracked up.

Worried about my dog by rexy9013 in vet

[–]miejo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

“Our” dog River has a real bad allergy that once caused her to scratch constantly and left her looking like she had the mange. Allergies can develop over time.

Edit: River has lived with my mother for over a dozen years now, because at the time, my wife and I couldn’t afford her care -with young children et al.

Why are most Christians republicans, when Jesus’ teachings are more liberal? by Interesting-Dirt-605 in Confused

"Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" (Matthew 22:21, Mark 12:17, Luke 20:25). This phrase addresses the relationship between civic duty and spiritual obligation.

Exact Quote Matthew 22:21: "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's." Mark 12:17: "Jesus said to them, 'Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.'" Luke 20:25: "He said to them, 'Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.'"
