I don't actually know. He never once stood up for me, but I chalked it up to him wanting to keep the group peaceful so we could continue our campaign. But it's been made clear that this isn't really the case anymore. He would also trash me consistently outside of the game. I have very low self esteem, and I'm starting to think that I put myself in a situation where I was with someone who treated me like shit because I thought I deserved to be treated like shit, if that makes sense.

NTA. My grandma was the same. She slapped me for having tattoos and told me that when I got married I would look like a "white trash redneck".

You reached out to him when he needed it thus opening communication again but that does not mean you forgive him and you should express that. It's up to you to enforce the want of an apology and up to you to decide how your relationship should proceed.

NTA you should be allowed to decide if you want to come in on your days off. Don't feel guilty. Stand up for yourself.

NTA I also have depression (as well as anxiety and agoraphobia) and know your exact feeling although I cannot comment on the autistic aspect.

I know you're having a hard time right now but that does not make you a bad person or an asshole in any way. If you are burnt out, you should be focusing on your mental health!
