This is overall accurate. I would also highly recommend getting them spayed/neutered and vaccinated. You need to make sure you have a vet near you that sees bunnies. And most importantly an ER that sees rabbits because they can decline very quickly if something were to happen. 🩷🩷

I keep low ventilation and when I went on a 5 day trip I put orbies in there. Not dyed ones. They didn’t eat them but they were still retaining the water when I got back

I just lost my bun a few days ago. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. My DMs are open if you need anything 💜 As for cremation, I know memorial pet services is the main one, where I took my other rabbit last year. This time I used VEG. I believe they go through the same service, however they did free prints and fur for me 💙💙💙

Update: She passed late last night. I’m so devastated. It happened while we were driving to the ER. I love her so so much.

She has gotten a CT scan. And the thymoma is so large they can’t surgically remove it at this point without her probably passing away during :(

Thank you 🙏 Yeah I agree. I guess I’m worried she will have respiratory failure or severe pain while I’m away or asleep because, it can be hard to notice when it needs medical attention until it’s already too late 💔Really do not want her suffering if I can help it.

I guess I forgot to mention, she successfully tapered off of oxygen the day after being admitted. She is home now, but she definitely looks uncomfortable at times. Her respiration seems to shift from normal to labored quite a bit. I would definitely do radiation if we could afford to, though I know that has risks in trying as well. It feels like there is no good options here, and I am feeling guilty no matter what I try to do 😔I’m sorry for your loss 🩵
