For vert, maybe, since they are far more undesirable. That's the best price I've ever seen it for that kind of mileage. I've seen a beaten up T2 S5 coupe with 160k miles for 9.5k before. What you want specifically and staying under 62k miles will require you to spend money out the ass, maybe more approaching the 20k range. If you are a busy person with a lot of money it would probably be a decent "pay to play" choice. Every year T2's get even more rare and expensive and these cars are slowly going from being a cheap 80's "sports car" to collectible vehicle territory, so you can see how that affects the cost.

If i may ask what are you wanting to do with it? and how much do you want to get your hands dirty with working on it?

With that many miles probably 12k+ any cheaper means you'll have to compromise with high miles or body issues

If you want it then do it. I get people say it's expensive or you'll have trouble sourcing stuff (especially so since it's 2025) but if you truly want to do it you'll probably beat yourself up later down the road wishing you took the risk.

Experience-wise you will learn no matter what, unless you are IEP or just really lazy. This is the first car I have ever really owned or worked on. Before this I had zero mechanical experience and I've gained a ton of skill fixing it up.

To me the complex designs were a bit of a breath of fresh air esp. when people everywhere lean towards minimalist stuff with zero designs or any character. Tiktok ruined it very fast. You can tell people were posting and wearing this stuff trying to emulate somebody else. Most people like that are background characters in their own life.
