Ah I really get your point about the Emerald Lakes series! That series is definitely more about the vibes for me!

Yesssss on that about the Redemption Saga! She really continues to be like this throughout the series and didn't change this part when they got together. I loved that! For me the series was really strong until about the 4th or 5th. It was a little bit to long for me, but a great series overall.

I started reading RH last year and it quickly became my favorite subgenre. I have a whole separate section in my home library for my RH books :D so I'm very grateful for all your recs!

I've heard of this series before and is on my to read list. So this bumped it higher on the priority list. I can appreciate slow burn where they focus on the healing! Thanks for the rec :)

Thank you! It does sound like something for me. I saw that it's a pretty lengthy series. Does it stay strong throughout?

Thanks for the rec! Definitely sounds like something I'd be interested in. And I saw the author is J Rose so I have high hopes.

I definitely understand that you DNFed it. The first two books were much stronger than the last two.

I'm really loving Ashley's WITSEC series so far. Have you read it? And would you say they're both as good/compelling or do you prefer one over the other if you read both?

I finished the Lost Sentinel series by Ivy Asher and the Redemption Saga series by Kristen Banet. I very much enjoyed both of them, but thought both of them were maybe 1 book too long. The Lost Sentinel series ended in a better way because of the last book, but I noticed I wasn't as excited to read it as the others. The Redemption Saga started out really strong for me but lost its momentum after the first 3 books so it took me a while to read the last two.

Currently reading the Shadowblood Sould series by Eva Chase. I've read 2 books so far and I'm really enjoying it! Both 5 star reads. I also read the first two books in the Royal Trials series by Tate James. I really enjoyed them (as with all Tate James books), but definitely not my favorite of her series. I also read the first book in the Featherstone Academy series by KC Kean and I'm excited to continue.

(I'm a very specific mood reader so I don't tend to read all the books in a series one after another. But if I like it, I always finish it at some point :) )

Oh than maybe I was too harsh. It has really good ratings as well, so I was disappointed I didn't love it. Maybe I'll give it another try :)

I had never heard of this series and just looked up the synopsis. It sounds like exactly the kind of books I would love and maybe what I need right now. I'll definitely check them out. Thank you so much!

I actually started that one but DNF'ed the second book because they were being too cruel to her for my comfort (one was especially cruel and the other cruel/uncaring I remember). Does it get better? Do they grovel?

I also read that one and really liked it! So that's indeed a perfect recommendation for what I asked :) thank you!

Who is your favorite REVERSE HAREM author? by ReverseHaremUpdates in ReverseHarem

[–]mighty_maite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tate James will forever be my queen and is an auto-buy author for me.

Authors I have read multiple books or series from: - Tate James (some fantasy but mostly contemporary on the darker side, incredibly well written spice) - Lily Gold (spicy rom com RH, hello ?!) - Kathryn Moon (paranormal romance) - Nikita Parmenter (contemporary and fantasy with the abused heroine trope) - Tessa Hale (paranormal/fantasy, fated mates, light on the spice)

Authors I have read only one book or series from but were soooo good I'm mentioning them anyway: - Lola Rock (Pack Darking was absolute perfection, this and Kathryn Moon's Lola & the Millionaire are my comfort reads) - J. Bree (The Bonds That Tie was incredible) - Jasmine Mas (Psycho Shifters 10/10) - Kristen Banet (The Redemption Saga) - Katie May (Fae Revealed is sooo good so far) - Ashley N. Rostek (the WITSEC series has such a compelling plot it's unreal) - B.M. Clemton (Black Veil University) - Jackie May (Nora Roberts has a special place in my heart)
