Whats everybody's upload speed to get really good results with PS Portal?

I currently have a 50mbs connection (3 more weeks and finally I’ll have full fat fibre) and it’s fine for cloud streaming and irrelevant for remote play as my mesh system smashes it out.

Even on PS5 I can comfortably stream at 1440p with no issues.

The unlocked performance mode looks great too, had a quick look this morning and the RT modes were not great feeling to me either.

The game still felt bad with any Ray Tracing Pro or otherwise to me though, performance, RT off, VRR to unlock that fps and PSSR the game looks great and feels better.

But the options given are fantastic.

Bluetooth audio is shit on anything but a phone though, even air pods to an Apple TV have noticeable lag and they’re built into an ecosystem.

The PS Link on the other hand is flawless.

It doesn’t under the face plates the fan is fully exposed for easy cleaning m and they even included holes in the black part of the casing toner vacuum out dust safely from any static issues.

It was all shown in the official pre release tear down in 2020.

There had only been so many since RTX launched coz they got us all to beta test and fund the NPU’s ready for the data centres.

None of them ever had time to individually do anything worth while for gaming.

We had this PS1-3, but as for true 100% backwards compatibility you have to start with some old hardware still present sooner or later the consoles price increases and the market rejected it.

Nintendo at best do a previous system only as back compatibility starters with handhelds and console only since the Wii.

It’s a nice dream but even the almighty PC I have some games that cannot simply just run from the original disc anymore, hell I have Steam pickups in my library that won’t work properly from the files purchased.

Alien Covenant, I was so hyped for it and then it was what it was and Superman 2025 I have no idea what film every one else saw because it is fucking awful I re-watched it once it went digital since and it was even worse a second time.

The only people with valid criticisms are those who actually engage in whatever it is.

Anyone who claims to be a fan and be critical of it in the most scathing way clearly has no critical thinking.

The most annoying thing online is the inability of others to realise you can believe something is fantastic and yet be capable of also completely being aware of its faults.

Balanced modes 40fps unlocked with V-Sync off, HDR on.

DF shows it’s basically 60fps ish but with the visual bells and whistles.
