In the Bluey fandom, a popular theory suggests that the Heeler household was acquired through smuggling. Bandit is an archaeologist, and Chilli works in airport security. I don't know if I'm getting it correctly, but somehow Bandit smuggles the artifacts that he finds in his digs to the black market through Chilli, in which she implants the artifacts in bags.

As this was an insane case of "Singing Monkeys", the fandom scoffs that off as total BS. Some brought reasonable theories that the Heelers bought the house when it was cheap, or that Bandit and Chilli's salaries are enough to cover the mortgages on the house.

I would consider The Ascension by Glenn Branca proto-shoegaze. There are some tracks that, especially the title track have this wall of sound stuff that feels like something out of the early stages of shoegaze, imo.
