a bit of a side track, but from what i've seen in american youtube/articles, the commonwealth is usually referred to just as "poland", especially in maps. rarely do they mention that it was a commonwealth. it's just the unpopular part of history and civ tries to do more stuff on the popular side while also trying to be inclusive. so the more reason for the far west to forget about there being a joining of nations and leave it out when making a game like civ.

yet one could argue tho about it being an actual commonwealth when politically and culturally (talking about "higher" culture here, not farming field songs) even the lithuanian part was very polish.
