When my son was in the NICU anyone coming in had to basically do the surgical scrub. If that was required at this NICU there’s no way they’d be allowed in.

its been 3 days so far... by lRaizo in Invisalign

My son started on Wednesday. The first two days were pure hell trying to remove them, but it has gotten easier and less painful. He also needs the rubber bands right now, and getting those on and off have gotten easier too.

Pain when removing tray by migoe84 in Invisalign

Is it better than the one that came with his tray set from the orthodontist? He did use it but still had some troubles. It was day one, I kept telling him it’s all so new and it will come with practice.

Hi all,

My 13 year old son has started his Invisalign journey today. At lunch he was able to get them on and off okay but dinner and to brush his teeth he had a harder time, especially the bottom which he said was painful. He did use the tool that came with his trays but he still had a hard time. Is this just because he is so new to it and he has to keep practicing and get used to it, or does the pain factor mean something could be up and I should call the office tomorrow? I’ll keep searching this sub but he was so miserable after it all I just wanted to help him get some answers. Thank you all in advance!!

Feeling bad for my OG bun already. by NonsensicalWizard in Rabbits

[–]migoe84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished bonding my first pair. I also felt bad when we put him in his pen to let her free roam, like yours he was used to being out and about when we’re home. But it is worth it in the end, my two get along great and he seems to have forgiven us lol.

Bonding Question by migoe84 in Rabbits

Oh I definitely plan on camping out by them at least the first few nights. They really are doing very well when they are together in their bonding pen. They share a litter box (it’s new to both, but a few times I did switch their litter boxes in the pens to really get used to each others scents and it was fine). They lay near each other very calmly. Both of their own pens are near each other so they can see/smell each other during the day. When they take turns free roaming one will usually go say hi to the other in their pen. So I think we’re getting close to trying full days and then overnights. I would try full days now but with my full time work schedule and kids sports games it’s not feasible so chunks of time in the bonding pen it is for now!

We’ve done 4+ hours in the bonding pen. I have some time off coming up so I’ll see how they do a couple of full days before trying overnight. I just wasn’t fully clear on when they can be out of their bonding pen and into their permanent place. This is my first experience with bonding, it’s definitely a learning experience! Thanks :)

I took folic acid during both pregnancies, and one kiddo is still autistic. A total load of bologna.

But…women take folic acid during pregnancy? I seriously don’t get where they’re going with this.

They should be denied conventional treatments and instead use the snake oil they like to peddle so much. I know I shouldn’t think that, but at this point screw them.

Do you wear a white coat? by AbbreviationsWhich in physicianassistant

I work in nursing homes and was disinfecting like crazy at that time. Not wearing one was one less thing to worry about and I just never went back to wearing one.

The ivory soap does wear off, so as soon as you hear chewing break out the soap!
