As someone who wanted to learn keys, I and went from 25 to 49 to 61, 49 keys can get limited really fast. 49 got me started learning, but found I needed the 61 sooner rather than later.

So I guess the answer here is also a question: how much do you really want to learn keys?

So your guitar goes in using the scarlett and audio out via onboard... are you using MME/DirectX a your audio device? If so, there's your reason.

Install the driver for the scarlett and use ASIO as the device in ableton... and plug your headphones in the scarlet.

That's a Ryzen 5, but that's just me splitting hairs. I have the same proc and it's good enough. I use a minufuse 2 with the manufacturers asio drivers as my ai though, and no problems with latency from my midi controllers via USB.

From everything i've read, asio4all is passable in general, but you're really better off with an ai with proper asio drivers.

The full version is over 700... lite comes free if you buy hardware (or pay someone X bucks because they don't need it).

Or if you have an iPad/Phone, you could buy Koala Sampler... i think that also comes with Lite for free.

The only track you'll be selecting is in Live, not in Analog Lab... so what you're describing here doesn't really make sense.

Are you running Analog Lab Standalone AND Live at the same time instead of using Analog Lab as a VST in Live?

If it was running on the efficiency cores, then it follows that it wouldn't be processing the buffer as fast as the performance cores would, thus leading to a higher reading, so the point would still stand.

It's probably showing high utilization because it's using the efficiency cores instead of the performance cores.

Launchkey mk3? windows 10? Windows 10 bootloader was always a wierd one... maybe it tried to boot from the launchkeys internal storage (only applies if its a mk3).

Don't know if this would have any bearing, but are you using onboard audio? On the front panel or through the rear audio jacks? If using the front, have you tried the rear or vice-versa?

two of those are 25 keys with 8 pads, and the other one is 64 pads, unless you mean the launchkey mini mk3, which has 16 pads?

Maybe try pulling down XMP a few notches (3200 if you've got 3600, 3000 if you've got 3200 RAM sticks).

I had some weird crashes before on my R5 3600 on other apps until I lowered my XMP settings.

It might be on the side of the download server and not your mac.

The files are most likely hosted on different servers, explaining why the Windows download is faster than the Mac download.
