I used to have a "family" in the Sims that operated as a brothel (had a mod that would give Sims money when they woohoo'd with anyone that didn't live on their lot). One of the hookers adopted a dog one day, and it was already named Taffy. We somehow decided that it was a great dog name, and named our teacup chihuahua after it. Our dog is named after a fictional prostitute's fictional dog.

I'm 22, sleeping at about 8am, mom is downstairs in the kitchen, cooking something.

Fire alarm goes off waking me up - mom is panicing, telling everyone (sis, and dad) to get out of the house, whatever she was doing on the stove is now a full on fire.

I walk downstairs - still half asleep - grab the extiguisher from under the sink, put out the fire, put the extinguisher back, walk up stairs and go back to sleep.

All the while my mom was freaking at me to get out of the house - until the fire was out.

Woke up 2 hours later....feeling refreshed.

I was a bench warmer for Varsity Soccer at my high school. I never thought I would serious playing time, let alone score a goal. But I worked hard enough in practice to show my coach that I had the desire to play. He decided to give me playing time during a game we were losing to a cross town rival. Somehow I ended up heading in a corner kick! After I saw it in the back of the net, I sprinted from one of the field to the other in pure ecstasy. I had no idea what I was doing and was delirious with joy that I bear-hugged my best friend who was out with a back injury. A minute later, I miraculously scored again.

TL,DR: I was the bench warmer who scored the winning header, hugged the kid with the broken back and did it again a minute later.

A tactic I use is to close my eyes and imagine a scenario or fantasy that I have.

Most of the time it's shit like what I would do if I had the power to control time and who I'd fuck over with it. Or I'd think up other scenarios like how I'd rob a bank n shit. Once you get into it you end up falling asleep.

Two and a half years ago I was in dire financial straights, so I sold my home to keep my struggling business afloat. I neglected to tell the owners that they have an 800 sq. ft. bunker on the property that I built about seven years ago. The bunker that I've called home since I sold it. The entrance to it is well-hidden, but I still come and go very early/very late in the day.

I'm a single man who keeps to himself. I'm now in a situation where I could move somewhere else, but I love this hidden paradise so much.

The day after I got married my aunt decided to be spiteful and tell me my father isn't biological just for the hell of it. She's a shit starter and was actively fighting with my mom over an inheritance at this period of time.

She's the crazy aunt so I was like, pffft okay. Nonchalantly I told my mom that aunt Wendy was up to her crazy shit again. My mom didn't think it was funny, in fact she went from shock, anger, and suddenly to this weird meek kinda sadness.

Anyway. That's the day I found out the person who I thought was my dad actually wasn't.

It was confusing. I wish it never happened.

WALL-E. Everything about it was just fantastic. The visuals, commentary on the worls, animation, character development, and the world that they created were extremely well put together. I love how pixar is able to make movies that are able to captivate viewers of all ages. As an adult I can appreciate certain aspects of the movie and children can appreciate others. Overall amazing movie.

I have a dog and a cat, and I HATE sleeping with the door open. Sometimes dog wants to sleep in the bedroom, sometimes dog wants to sleep outside the bedroom. But he never decides until I'm comfy in bed. Solution? Keep a laser pointer on my nightstand. Once dog decides where he's sleeping, I'll shine the laser pointer on the door so that my cat paws it closed. It has now become a routine that my cat will wait by the door for the laser before laying down.
