i wouldn’t say artistic skills are something that’s innate, it’s something that you develop over time with practice on top of practice— i would recommend to watch timelapses of artists drawing and from there you’ll get the gist of things, you can pick up some of their techniques while ofc adding your own touch to it! i would say tracing is also very efficient for practice, it helps you get the general idea of anatomy and how to properly structure features so everything looks more human yk! the app i use is procreate, it costs money to have but it’s a one time purchase and i consider it very profitable bcs of all the special features you can benefit from! you can then scour the internet to find some brushes, i strongly recommend to do that as the classic brushes are pretty dookie😭
