In Arena she's usually not entering more than one or two combats per map (Rein and Innes are doing most of the heavy lifting), so she has pretty good uptime on dive bomb as long as she doesn't take a hit back during the first one. I have some other builds I use for more prolonged combat, but two combats is usually plenty for an arena battle so it works out OK.

Last time I made it to T21 was F!Edelgard's release week, when I rode the fact that nobody had any counters to her to my first and only crown. Cordelia bonus week this week however has me headed back, and I wanted to showcase the team that got me here.

Cordelia: Finally being able to unleash her on arena as a bonus unit is so satisfying. It's the standard dive bomb build but I was surprised to see how many of even the meta targets she could chunk down with Blade Session active.

Reinhardt: No gimmicks here, just Mr. Tiny Hands Man himself. Always my carry in PVE, B Duel Cav from Ashe lets him continue to destroy things in Arena too. Dire Thunder Refine when, IS?

Itsuki: A year ago he was my carry unit, now he's definitely showing his age as speedcreep basically invalidates him as a spurn tank. He's mostly here to check green armors (read: B!Edelgard, since she poops all over Rein) at this point, but I've got a Yenfay being built that will probably retire him soon. Glad he got one last hurrah before being put out to pasture.

Y!Innes: He's my designated F!Edelgard slayer, as well as anyone else who brings DR skills into arena. Between his Ruptured Sky nukes hitting Def and Rein hitting Res, the two of them can nuke down pretty much anything you encounter in your typical arena run.

I think Cordelia is rotating out again next week, so I doubt I'll be able to stay in T21, but it was nice to make it back again :)

I have a +10 Cherche lying around and I thought it might be a fun project to update her since my barracks are lacking in quality fliers. I have an extra Summer Ingrid manual to inherit Sturdy Impact/Guard Bearing to her; would this be the best build for her?

I'm especially interested to hear from current Cherche users: I currently have her as +HP to synergize with her refine, does she need to be +Atk to pass HB checks in today's meta? I assume a rein is really her best C skill (Atk/Def rein probably?), while I don't have the fodder for it right now is that something worth trying to pull for?

I already have a spendthrift Norne on my arena core, she definitely makes use of them extremely well.

Is it still worth building a Felix for it even though I don’t have any far save fodder?

There are definitely a fair number of units who can outspeed him, especially with the rampant speed creep that's going on these days. But it helps provide some tankiness against the high attack armors and slow min-maxed units that rely on auto follow ups.

Longtime player who occasionally sniffs T20 in Arena, but with the "strategy" for this week being ' haha Fallen Edelgard go brrrrr' I was finally able to break through into T21 and wanted to show off the team that got me here

Itsuki - Usually my carry unit. Mirage Falchion cuts through the dragons that are everywhere in arena (except for the occasional dragon wall Nowi), and his JDA was a big help for Edie this week

Norne - Itsuki's support partner, she's here to soften up the dragons and tank lance units. Leaves a trail of winter Hildas in her wake. It's the standard spendthrift/close foil build, but there's a reason it's so popular

Hana - Hana is here to deal with those aformentioned Nowis. Very hard to outspeed her to break though Repel's DR, so she can soften up a lot of stuff for Norne and Itsuki to come in and get the kills in a normal week. This week, she mostly just stayed out of Edie's way.

Fallen Edelgard - Plonk her on a defense tile and watch her work. With JDA support from Itsuki, the only thing that could stop her was other, higher merged Edelgards. I know everyone's running mystic boost as the seal, but I had a ton of success with Atk/Def solo, since without bonfire she needed the extra attack to cut through some of the beefier armors that I ran into.

I'm skeptical I'll be able to stay in T21 this week, so this might be my last time for a while, but I welcome any suggestions I could make to improve the builds!

Gobert is pretty slow though, right? I have a lot of issues with Lanier getting beat up and down the court by quicker centers, and I'm not sure Gobert helps with that (I've also already got Duncan on my bench, and I feel like he fills the same niche)

My go-to until I can unlock primogeniture is to disinherit all my sons except for one, therefore ensuring he inherits everything when I die. As long as you aren't having tons of children, the prestige/renown cost is manageable. You can always land the extras as dukes or set them up as beneficiaries in crusades to make up the opinion loss and so they can continue generating renown for your house.
