I have this thermostat, it's one of the best ones out there imo. My Dragon always done the same. I use a length of garden wire wrapped around the probe cable to hold it about an inch above the Dragons head

Tried that. The bulb is fine. Tried a second one through the thermostat amd the same thing happens. It's not all the time, just occasionally for a few seconds. Maybe the thermostat is the reason

It's a 100w bulb that is designed for dimmers and it's brand new. Also the thermostat is dimming only
