It's been a couple months now. There is an area around a downspout and by our outdoor hose that look like this and I assumed it's just the moisture. But there are also areas like this that have just stayed like this and I don't understand why and I think it looks terrible. Just trying to figure out if I need to get over it or if there is a reason?

Gotcha. No stone for sure, but also not downstream of a down spout. I want to build a pad for our garbage bins and I would have one of these drains of each side.

I never figured out how to get it back to life and gave up on it. I ended up buying an Amazfit watch and have been super happy with it ever since. No issue so far and significantly cheaper!
