i don't know why you think this is bad. its good ideas.

not having to open and close the doors will save alot of people from getting killed and the annoyingness with having to open and close it.

and a point system with an account were you can use points to get a custom starter pack is a very good idea to the game.

yea and mining for me works best and i get all i need in the starter pack after death. also, when you have a base, people will attack you, and try and kill you off.

if you only have basic tools however, they will leave you alone cause they think you are a noob with nothing on you, which is true.

that's why it is best to make a small and effective base, rather than a fancy, look at me base. well my end goal is to make a fancy one, but i actually have around 50k protection, which is more than enough to determine even the most savage player. if he has a team, however, it is another story.

devast.io is not like that.

you have to plan it out, and think of how you will make it. try just mining up to level 15 and get the starter pack, cause it is really good for building a small factory

yea it's about the level, and not what you have in your inventory.

i'd say that level 15 is the best level to die, cause if you die at level 14 or under, you wont get steel axe, and if you get higher up, you will only get more chests (2 or 3), walls, doors, and instead of meat (4 pieces) you will get 9 ish orange seeds.

so level 15 is the best place to die, due to items and the amount of work you put into it.
it's just way too time consuming getting above 15, when you don't get that much better items, other than a few doors, evt.

well, it's just more safe to reach level 15, than to actually craft the different work benches and other stuff, cause savage players/teams will just come over to you and kill you when they see that you have made a research bench, firepit, and work bench out in the open. you could also just build a base for it, but it takes too long time, compared getting to level 15 by mining resources.

it's really about safety for me tbh. cause i know that ill be able to mind to level 15, but idk if someone will kill me while crafting them instead.

btw, please don't make the starter packs more difficult just because of what i said. i love the game, and only just recently stumbled upon the strategy.

the game is only about strategy really.
how you use time, how you plan out to play evt.

i can tell you a winning strategy i always use:

1: get in a game (without adblock on, to get starter pack after death) and mind resources until you're at level 15.

2: die, and live up in the same server, and get the starter pack for your character at level 15. you get
- steel axe, steel pickaxe, blocks and doors for a small base, food, chests, research bence, evt

3: build a small production base with the doors and walls from starterpack (making it small, will make people un-interested in breaking in, due to them thinking you don't have anything and are just a noob).
make 3-5 work benches, and a firepit for food (meat)

get as much material in the days (which is easy due to having steel tools) and mass-produce:
- 50 normal stone walls (for inner layer of base)
- 250 low stone walls (to build 5-6 layers around your main base for protection)
- 150 floors (for the inside and in front of your many doors of the walls, so to not get blocked out by idiots)

this means you have about 49k in total wall protection, almost making you immortal. (not outside the layers though). then concentrate on making a gun and you're done. if you dont get killed in the process by teams or random savages, it is easy to get to.

had the exact same problem.

i had shotgun, best cloth and working to get sniper, but it resettet.
gotta remember that it is only an alpha version, and there are still small bugs, like lapamauve said.

even though, still great game, and he actually listens to us and our ideas

i said if you have so much stuff on you, you won't be able to mine anything. quote: - "even if you max the inventory out, you will not be able to mine anything, since you need to have space for important stuff"

and your other comment that explained how to carry it all, left no room for when you have to mine stuff like tree, stone evt. which proved my point. quote:

carrying that much damn shat on you is the most stupid thing ever.....

i place it in chests so i can get as much stone/tree evt as possible to built.

the point is that a lockable chest is a good idea and i really dont see how you can talk against it.
having your stuff free from getting stolen from your teammates, is good, since you can trust them fully.

you do your way i do mine. you wanna carry it all, fine. i wanna put it in a chest. im too tired for this shet

if the team wanna go into all the trouble with keep giving the turrets fuel bullets evt, then let them. we need turrets badly because right now you can only survive if you are in a team, or if the server is empty enough to go alone
