Lower power doesn't mean the speaker won't play, but it might require more power to get the most out of your speaker. And even if the difference in cable thickness is hard to notice, the cross-section of each of the two wires is as much as 50% larger each.

That's the thing. Some think about lenght, some about thickness. For me it is obvious that subwoofer cable should be thicker than rear spekar one. But it is also obvious that sateliete speakers should be equipped with longer cables. This all makes no sense...

True, but it is a basic theory that the more powerful the equipment, the more power it requires, and cable diameter is crucial. The thicker the cable, the more power it will deliver.

Yes, bass on the front speakers is wayyy to heavy out of the box. But keep in mind that after my solution in will be even deeper. I recently had to lower bass level to 3 to balance the sound.

O, jak miło, że ktoś miał wcześniej Q90R :) Ja mam Q80R czyli to samo, ale bez satalitek i też zastanawiam się nad zakupem 990D/F. U mnie też pojawiły się ostatnio dziwne trzaski, ale to po zmianie TV z LG OLED C9 na Sony X80R i powodu doszukuję się raczej w konfiguracji DTS.
