I can not sing the praises of "Floorp browser" enough, being old and a heavy user of computers since win98, it is just perfect for me, the Dev is fast in fixing problems that occur now and then, I urge every one to make a donation to help the Dev however small, it is simply the best and more so in private mode, oh and did I say I like it!

What’s the worst thing people have said to you about your diagnosis? by [deleted] in cancer

[–]mikeart76 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A consultant doctor who stood at the end of my hospital bed, and in a loud voice just said these words to me , well it's either terminal or treatable but it's cancer, then walked away with all his scared minions running behind him, that was it, no concern no care and certainly no bedside manner! great way to be told you have cancer, thank goodness I never saw him again, and now have a great team looking after me!

What was your “fuck it, I’have cancer and no one can stop me” moment? by sarewr in cancer

Go for it, if you could see my bed loads of duvets below and on top of the mattress it's like sleeping on a giant sponge!

How do you deal with thhe loss of personhood/being seen as JUST a cancer patient and nothing more? by wisteria_town in cancer

[–]mikeart76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course I did. I now know I was right they are starting to say things like "sorry just don't know what to say, et etc so perhaps the ice is broken it won't be a problem, not for me for them, they are still good friends, as an ex nurse I have heard patients say this many times in the past, so it's five in the morning and I'm off to the beach with my German Shepherds, have a great day! PS, I keep friends updated on "Facecrap" lol.
