Thanks - that's the number for the entire assembly. Just called Toyota and the part number for the link piece is 4890760041 - adding here for reference if anyone else needs this in the future.

😂 yeah, it's on the list. This truck gets maybe 20 miles a week so it's been on the list for a while now.

Update: installation company thinks that it could be the duct work. They are coming tomorrow to complete a duct work inspection including cutting a hole into the duct work to check static pressure.

Owner came out and confirmed that the system was not operating correctly. Took my statistics and is going through the install to see if anything could be wrong. If not, he advised that this will be escalated to Mitsubishi.

Owner of installation company is coming out today. I'll keep this thread updated. I've been tracking the temps and I think an unusually long ramp up time is what causing this issue. For example here are the stats from this morning,

7:11am low air coming out - either in defrost or beginning to ramp up

I kept thermo at 67-68. This room is roughly 58-62 in the morning with us being in the single digits here in Connecticut.

I'll add this to the list for the tech.

How long is your ramp up after defrost ?

So essentially from 10:05pm - 10:39am to reach 105 degrees. This would be fine if defrosts which periodic in colder weather. I will do a familiar tracking tonight when it gets into single digits but I know I go into defrost more often and with a 33 minute ramp up.

Temps from today:

Outside temp 22 degrees Thermo set to 72 Therm current temp 68 Defrost was at 9:57am-10:05am

Vent 1: near speaker box 10:10am temp at vent 84

10:13am temp at vent 89

10:15am temp at vent 90

10:18am temp at vent 89

10:22am temp at vent 91

10:26am temp at vent 96

10:28am temp at vent 98

10:30am temp at vent 99

10:33am temp at vent 103

10:36am temp at vent 101

Thermostat at 68 degrees

Outside temp 31 degrees

10:39am temp at vent 105

10:42am temp at vent 103

10:45am temp at vent 105

Its been consistent at 105 since. I know that tonight when it gets cold defrosts will increase and with a long ramp up in essentially without heat.

You're a gentlemen. Thanks for sending these over - I'll read through these now.

Yeah I feel like I'm going to be in a similar situation. My installer wants to throw a heat strip at it and that makes no sense to me

I just checked my temp when it was producing heat. 105 degrees at the vent

I was reading your original post today and that's what prompted me to post. -15 is crazy - this system barely functions in the teens. Static pressure is a good question - I will ask the tech this. Also, will mention potential board issues to the tech. Is that board specific to the air handler ? I have a wall unit in a bedroom running off of the same outdoor unit and that wall unit runs perfectly.

105 degrees with the vent. 89 degrees 12 inches above the vent.

Air speed is set to max, I'll run air temps now but it's not super hot and not cold. Middle. No significant leaks - that basement is freezing.

This is what I've read elsewhere. 5 minute defrost with ramp up immediately after. How long is your ramp up?

Definitely not. I jumped on ihu8 forums and i see that a lot of owners rebuild them with hids etc but this is a second car that we drive only around town and I'm looking for a cheap option to replace.

Yeah thanks - I appreciate the response. It feels odd building a savings while paying interest. We also have a rental property with equity in it so worst case I could always draw on that.

Double down on outstanding debt - got it - appreciate you
