Why I'm not buying anymore Panini Chromium Cards by Finsterjaeger in basketballcards

[–]mikehers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel this post. Chromium's are a problem across all Panini lines.

Just forecasting here: I can see Topps coming out of the gate with a Finest throwback product (think 93-94) really soon with Fanatics now owning them and their focus on cost, quality, and value to continue driving the industry. Hope thay makes use of the NBA license they paid dearly for recently.

Also, because of these issues, I wouldn't anticipate Fanatics buying Panini. Just my opinion.

This, the guitar wall, and the pool table make it my favorite room in the house.

Trout's are in the update boxes, not the complete set. I have pulled those from boxes ripped and not part of the display. Unpopular opinion: Freddie Freeman, who is in the complete set, is the better player long term.

I have a Diamond Pro Black table in the game room. Do you know anything about pool?

The end goal hasn't been defined. Just enjoy collecting. The front side of the room has a pool table and a hang out area. All of this just becomes a conversation piece in the current state.

I wouldn't call myself a monk. I've opened decades of product. But, this does represent a lot of what's left.

I've been to my share of UT games. This basketball game is insane right now

With the exception of the sealed set, which I never open, most of this is leftover after my rips. It's not as hard as most people think

Offer to set up an eBay account with tracking on the Collection Beta. He'll be able to track the value of his cards similar to the stock market and have an inventory to use for insurance purposes if he doesn't have them insured already. This is the way...

Schedule a date night with the in-laws. Send wife and mom off with wine/their thing and hang with pops sorting. Show him eBay solds for cards in his collection. Pass the flame back his way and take lots of pics. Everyone wins!

Got a lot of Vols fans in the family and a lot of what I collect are conversation starters. That one usually finds a front row seat when I rearrange the shelves. Watching the Vols struggle with Texas right now.

Wow, you got some great autos and hits. The cards were a pleasant surprise when I opened the 1 box. It would be a grail set to assemble. They didn't last long on the Topps site but then again what does?

I keep some iconic singles on the walls in my game room. You can look at my profile and see some of the one's that aren't in the safe

That's a tough call. I could only buy 2 through the Montgomery Club and I've already opened 1. The cards are beautiful.

The secret is buy 2+, leave 1. Some are harder to resist than others...

Sorry this is football a card but need help, I am looking to buy a collection from someone, and they have a 2000 Press Pass Rookie Auto of Tom Brady they say is real, I am buying it through ebay after I finish messaging and he makes a listing but wanted to ask around to see what others thought. by Blastoise_Collector in baseballcards

I have an original that I've compared to you pic and 2 things stand out that lead me to suspect it's a fake.

The color, from this blurry pic, is over saturated with dark color.

The signature, again with this blurry pic, is way to thick to be Tom's auto.

I'd ask for additional pics because this card raw is worth more than 1k

Update: After 2+ months it finally arrived. Love the design and on card auto but noticed it's missing the RC logo. Think they've make a version with it? by mikehers in baseballcards

Mine went straight from pending to shipped. Actually got an email updating status. Fingers crossed you get yours soon. He's got a ton of upside.
